Abstract:
A new method for manufacturing large diameter plastic pipe fittings comprising the following procedures: raw material is melted, plasticized, extruded and moulded into a preform; the preform is placed into a mould for shaping; the mould is cooled, opened and unloaded, wherein the main technical feature is a two-stage moulding technique is adopted with its controlling conditions are: pressure by the primary hydraulic arm is 10.0-16.0Mpa with the pressing time being 1-3min, pressure by secondary hydraulic arm is 10.0-20.0Mpa with constant pressure moulding time being 8-20min. Cooling speed for crystallizing material is 10-20℃/min. Temperature for unloading the crystallized material from the mould is below 40℃. This invention makes up for the incapability of injection moulding method when producing large diameter pipe fittings, adopts dynamic upper moulding board and thereby realizes the constant pressure as moulding pipe fittings, improves the quality in terms of stability and consistency, and is featured for its enhanced adaptive processing.
