Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a lens mold having at least one inverted optical curved surface (22) on the surface thereof includes (a) a step for preparing an aluminum base material (10A) having a plurality of inverted optical curved surfaces (22) on the surface thereof or a step for preparing mold base material (10B), which is mold base material (10B) having a base material (12) and an aluminum layer (16) supported on the base material and having a plurality of inverted optical curved surfaces (22) on the surface thereof, (b) a step for forming a porous alumina layer (18) having a plurality of minute recesses (18p) by anodizing the surface of the aluminum base material or aluminum layer, and (c) a step for enlarging the plurality of minute recesses (18p) in the porous alumina layer by bringing the porous alumina layer into contact with an etching fluid.
