Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for forming pleats on fabric, and provides a method for manufacturing lightweight thermal pleated fabric, comprising: an insertion step of inserting fabric between an upper jig and a lower jig, which are correspondingly coupled; a fixing step in which upper protrusions, which are formed at the lower part of the upper jig, and lower protrusions, which are formed at the upper part of the lower jig, are engaged with each other, so that the fabric is fixed; a pressing step in which the lower ends of the upper protrusions and the upper ends of the lower protrusions press one surface of one end of the fabric, and press the other surface of the one end of the fabric, corresponding thereto, while a lower heating layer and an upper heating layer respectively come into contact; and a formation step of heating the fabric by means of the upper heating layer and the lower heating layer, thereby forming pleats on the fabric.
