Abstract:
The present invention enhances the degree of freedom of a shape of a uneven transfer surface in a mold. This method for manufacturing a mold is provided with a new mold preparation step, a plate preparation step, a printing step, and a mounting step. In the new mold preparation step, prepared is a new mold (2) which has, on one surface (21) thereof, a recess section (24) for forming a cavity. In the plate preparation step, prepared is a plate (5) which has a first main surface (51) and a second main surface (52), and at least a portion of which can be accommodated in the recess section (24). In the printing step, formed is a texture forming plate (7) which includes the plate (5) and a texture layer (6) by printing with inkjet the texture layer (6) having a transfer uneven surface (61) on the first main surface (51) of the plate (5). In the mounting step, the texture forming plate (7) is mounted on an inner surface (25) of the recess section (24) of the new mold (2).
