Abstract:
To provide an optical computation device whereby the relative positioning of a planar optical diffraction element is easily maintained in an expected relationship. A method for manufacturing an optical computation device includes a container formation step (see (a) and (d)) for forming a container including a cavity Ci at least using bottom walls WBi (bottom walls 111a, 112a) and side walls WSi (bottom wall 111b, 112b), a liquid material filling step (see (b) and (e)) for filling the cavity Ci with a liquid material Ri that includes a photocuring resin, and an optical shaping step (see (c) and (f)) for irradiating light to form an optical diffraction element (111c, 112c) on one of the main surfaces of the bottom walls WBi (bottom walls 111a, 112a).
