Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a polarizing lens which has high luminous transmittance and degree of polarization and in which astigmatism is minimized, a polarizing film, and a polarizing lens. The method for manufacturing a polarizing lens includes: causing a polarizing film to contract at a maximum contraction ratio of 5-30%, inclusive, when wet; processing the polarizing film into a curved surface; drying the polarizing film at a temperature T1; preparing a mold having a cavity in which the polarizing film is disposed; injecting a curing composition into the cavity; curing the curing composition to obtain a polarizing lens in which the polarizing film is disposed; and annealing the polarizing lens at a temperature T2, the temperature T1 and the temperature T 2 satisfying expression (1) below. (1): T1 > T2
