Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of security identification cards, and particularly relates to a method of manufacturing a security identification card having a color portrait and a security identification card using the same. The method of the present invention comprises: etching, by means of laser etching, user identity information on a card information surface of a substrate, the user identity information comprising: a black-and-white portrait and text information; printing, by using a color ink, a color portrait in a blank region of the substrate to obtain the personalized information surface, wherein an image in the color portrait is an image scaling up image contents of the black-and-white portrait; and printing, by using a transparent gloss paint, a transparent protective layer on an upper surface of the personalized information surface, the transparent protective layer covering the color portrait. The present invention effectively prevents others from tampering with the color portrait. In addition, security identification cards produced by means of the present invention have color portraits of users, such that the security identification cards are more aesthetically pleasing, and meet modern appearance requirements of the security identification cards for users.
