Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of tire production processes, and more specifically, relates to a method for manufacturing a tire having different upper and lower bead diameters. The method comprises a tire building process. The invention employs a specific building drum and corresponding bead setters of different sizes to produce a tire. Blocks of different sizes are arranged at two sides of the building drum so as to match bead setting rings of different diameters. Diameters of two bead components of the same radial tire are different. Sizes of the bead setters correspond to diameters at two sides of the tire. The tire of the present invention is produced by using a specific building drum and corresponding bead setters of different sizes. The present invention enables locking of beads at two sides of a tire, thereby realizing production of tires, and overcoming related production defects in the prior art.
