Abstract:
Provided is a method for accurately measuring blood components irrespective of whether or not there is deviation in the distribution of blood introduced within a capillary. This measurement method is characterized in that an electrode system for measuring a plurality of hematocrit values is provided within a capillary of a biosensor, and the hematocrit values are measured at respectively different positions within the capillary. Measuring the hematocrit values at a plurality of locations within the capillary in this manner makes it possible to more accurately measure the hematocrit values irrespective of any variation in the distribution of blood introduced within the capillary.
