Abstract:
Provided is a method for molding a wood which can produce processed goods having desired strength regardless of the state of grain of the wood while enhancing the yield. A method for molding a wood comprises a reinforcement sticking step for sticking a reinforcement having elasticity to a region including a place on the inner side surface of a wood blocked into substantially arm shape where change in curvature before and after compression is largest and the interval of grain of the wood is largest, a softening step for softening the wood to which the reinforcement is stuck in the reinforcement sticking step in the steam atmosphere of higher temperature and higher pressure than the atmosphere, and a compression step for deforming the wood softened in the softening step into a predetermined three-dimensional shape by compressing the wood in the steam atmosphere.
