Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for operating a boiler in a coal-fired power generation facility in which an increase in clinker can be inhibited. This method for operating a boiler 40 in a coal-fired power generation facility 10 includes: a first combustion step ST11 for burning a first coal having an alkali metal content and an alkaline earth metal content that fall within a first range; and a second combustion step ST12 for burning a second coal having an alkali metal content and an alkaline earth metal content that fall within a second range that is a content range higher than the first range.
Preferably, the first combustion step and the second combustion step are repeated alternately two or more times.
