Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for papermaking high-bulk and high-gloss double-sided coated paper. The present invention involves using a sulphate softwood pulp, a bleached sulfate hardwood pulp and an alkaline peroxide mechanical pulp with a high bulk of 100% by means of reasonable model selection of pulp materials, strictly controlling the matching ratio of the pulp materials, and using a specific formula of a coating, based on papermaking of single-layer formed base paper, coating multiple layers of same onto a high-speed paper machine at a vehicle speed up to 1300 m/min by means of a unique MSP (double-sided coating) plus blade coating process. By adjusting parameters such as a blade pressure and a blade angle of each coating head, the final paper manufactured finished paper has a quantification of around 170 g/m2, a bulk greater than 1 cm3/g, a gloss of 60-70%, an evenness greater than 600 s, and a bending stiffness greater than 2.4 mNm.
