Abstract:
A plant for using recompressed vapor is provided with: a main unit having vapor generating equipment (1) that generates process vapor, which is a condensable gas, and a condenser for cooling and condensing part of the process vapor that has been generated; a vapor recompression unit (5) for carrying out adiabatic compression of at least part of the process vapor, increasing temperature, and thereby obtaining recompressed vapor; and a heat exchanger unit (7) for using the recompressed vapor as a heat source. A circulating line (9) for returning uncondensed gas components in the recompressed vapor, which is supplied to the heat exchanger unit, to the main unit is provided. The main unit is provided with a first condenser (2) and a second condenser (3) on the downstream side of the first condenser, and the circulation line (9) may be connected to a line between the first condenser and the second condenser. In this plant, process vapor which has been increased in temperature by adiabatic compression can be safely and simply reused as a heat source.
