Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for preparing an acrylate composite glue by soap-free emulsion polymerization. The acrylate composite glue is prepared by soap-free emulsion polymerization, acrylic block oligomers having emulsifying properties are polymerized by RAFT active free radical polymerization, and then semi-continuous emulsion polymerization is performed by using acrylic block oligomer-emulsified acrylate monomers, thereby overcoming defects that conventional small molecular emulsifiers tend to migrate to a surface of a glue film to form a weak interface layer leading to reduced bonding strength and poor water resistance and the like. By using n-pentanol as a chain transfer agent, the molecular weight of a polymer can be reduced to increase the fluidity and composite uniformity of a glue, and the surface tension of the emulsion can also be reduced, improving the coating wettability and leveling of the acrylate composite glue emulsion. The acrylate composite glue is suitable for the compounding of soft packaging film materials such as plastic-plastic, aluminum-plastic, and PET-VMPET, and has high composite strength, the composite film cannot be torn apart, and the composite film still cannot be torn apart after being soaked in a water bath at 60℃ for 72 hours.
