Abstract:
Provided is a method for preparing an antimicrobial treatment agent for a textile. The method comprises the following steps: S1) providing solutions of: a) a cupric ion salt, b) aqueous ammonia or an ammonium salt, c) an aqueous inorganic alkaline solution, d) an alcohol or saccharide organic substance only containing carbon, hydrogen and oxygen elements, and e) water; and S2) mixing these solutions, and aging same to form a copper-ammonium coordination complex with an alcohol or saccharide as a catalyst. The treatment agent does not contain a heavy metal and possibly toxic organic elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur; an alkaline material used for textile finishing does not contain non-volatile or organic amine compounds, and by ingeniously using the alcohol or saccharide organic substance as a catalyst, copper ions create a coordination transition, such that natural textile fibers are grafted more firmly with copper ions; and the present invention has the advantages of safety, being environmentally friendly, scrubbing resistance, a high anti-microbial effect, and a long duration time.
