Abstract:

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a conjugated diene-based copolymer and, more specifically, provides a method for preparing a conjugated diene-based copolymer, a conjugated diene-based copolymer prepared thereby and a rubber composition comprising the same, the method comprising a step (S10) of emulsion-polymerizing a α-methylstyrene monomer, a conjugated diene-based monomer and a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate monomer, wherein the α-methylstyrene monomer and the conjugated diene-based monomer are injected at the point in time when the polymerization conversion rate of the emulsion polymerization is 0%, the hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate monomer is dividedly injected at least twice at the point in time when the polymerization conversion rate of the emulsion polymerization is 0-80%, and 10-50 wt% of the α-methylstyrene monomer, 49-89 wt% of the conjugated diene-based monomer and 0.1-5 wt% of the hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate monomer are injected on the basis of the total amount of monomers.
