Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for preparing an environmentally friendly surface-modified cotton fiber, the surface-modified cotton fiber is obtained by grafting a cotton fiber with oxidized chitosan in a dilute acetic acid solution, then carrying out an amidation chemical reaction on a carboxyl of the oxidized chitosan-grafted cotton fabric and an amino of an amino-terminated hyperbranched polymer. The method of the present invention is simple and feasible, does not involve the use of a chemical cross-linking agent, and is green and environmentally friendly and friendly to the human body; the prepared modified cotton fabric has a high grafting rate of the amino-terminated hyperbranched polymer on the surface thereof, a good washing resistance and a durable antimicrobial effect; and after protonation of the amino-terminated hyperbranched polymer, a layer of positive charges can be fixed on the surface of the cotton fiber, such that a dye can be actively adsorbed, without using an inorganic salt and alkali, and the dye uptake and color fastness are high. Therefore, the method has wide prospects in the field of salt-free ecological dyeing.
