The present invention relates to a method for preparing a Glycine max extract having the effect of improving bone metabolic functions, and a food composition for improving bone metabolic functions, containing the Glycine max extract as an active ingredient. The present invention relates to the method for preparing a Glycine max extract, comprising the steps of sequentially treating an aqueous solution of heated and ground Glycine max with a carbohydrase and a protease, and then using a microorganism to ferment same.
