Abstract:
A method for preparing a menthol solution mixture and an application thereof. Menthol that is solid at room temperature is mixed with different single-component solvents or a mixed solvent under the action of a co-solvent to prepare a menthol solution mixture protective material that can remain in a liquid state at room temperature for a long period of time. The liquid mixture has a high permeability at room temperature. The menthol solution mixture is used for temporary reinforcement of fragile relics at a cultural relic excavation site at room temperature or low temperatures, and realizes the temporary reinforcement of fragile relics under mild conditions, improves safety and reduces damage during cultural relic excavation, and improves restorability for subsequent protection.
