Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for preparing a modified conjugated diene-based polymer, the method comprising adding, during modification, a polyoxyethylene phosphate ester-based compound having a specific structure, along with sulfur chloride as a modifier, wherein modification reproducibility can be greatly improved and a stable process can be performed, the physical properties of a modified conjugated diene-based polymer according to modification conditions, particularly the rate of increase in Mooney viscosity and a change in the degree of branching, can be predicted, and the rate of increase in Mooney viscosity and the change in the degree of branching can be easily controlled by adjusting modification conditions.
