Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for preparing a PTFE-based film for preventing and removing ice covering fan blades and the use thereof, which relate to the technical field of polymer composite materials. The method comprises: using a monomer polymerization method of blending, pre-pressing and pushing to prepare a film into a PTFE bar having polymerized monomers; and using a hot calendaring fusion polymerization method, such that during the hot calendaring process of the PTFE bar, and under the fibrous fabric-like structure of layered peeling caused by film cracks, the film is prepared into a PTFE-based homogeneous film having micropores and a concave-convex geometric ultrastructural morphology of nanometer- and micrometer-level size. Further disclosed is the use of the PTFE-based homogeneous film in large fan blades in operation. The present invention is suitable for various types of wind turbines to prevent and remove ice on the surface of blades in winter, and solves the problem of it being difficult to achieve the effect of preventing and removing the ice on the surface of large fan blades in winter merely by relying on the high lubrication performance of the PTFE with a low surface tension alone.
