Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for preparing urea formaldehyde fibers via a cyclic acid-alkali process, wherein urea, an aldehyde and an alkali catalyst are added to a polymeric aqueous solution for a reaction, the aldehyde and an acidic catalyst are then added, the alkali catalyst and the remainder of the aldehyde compound are then added, the reaction is finally adjusted to acidic and finished, and solution spinning and thermal curing are performed to obtain urea formaldehyde fibers. The reasonably designed reaction process increases the molecular weight and structural controllability, and improves the spinnability and stability of the spinning solution. The fibers are three-dimensional cross-linked fibers, have advantages such as low costs, flame retardance, heat insulation, non-drip melting and non-toxic burning, and have wide application prospects.
