Provided is a method for processing the surface of a steel structure, comprising the following steps: S1: initial preprocessing; S2: sand preparation; S3: sandblasting process; S4: desanding process; S5: polishing; S6: rustproofing; S7: edge processing; S8: thermal treatment; S9: spray preparation; S10: spray-coating; S11: final processing. Sandblasting, polishing, thermal treatment, anti-corrosion solution, and spray treatment are combined together for processing the surface of a workpiece, thus causing the surface of the processed workpiece to have strong rust- and corrosion-resistance properties; the anti-corrosion processing is carried out after polishing or cutting, thus preventing polishing or cutting from affecting the overall anti-corrosion performance; anti-corrosion coating is done after heating, such that the anti-corrosion spray agent has better effects on the surface of the workpiece.
