Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method of producing an ammoxidation catalyst that exhibits high acrylonitrile yield, and a method of producing acrylonitrile. This method of producing an ammoxidation catalyst involves a step for preparing a catalyst precursor slurry containing a liquid phase and a solid phase, a step for drying the catalyst precursor slurry to obtain dry particles, and a step for firing the dry particles to obtain an ammoxidation catalyst, wherein aggregates containing a metal and a carrier are included in the solid phase of the catalyst precursor slurry, the particle diameter of the metal primary particles constituting the aggregates is less than or equal to 1 μm, and the average particle diameter of the metal primary particles is 40-200 nm.
