The present invention provides a method for safely and stably obtaining a product of high quality. The present invention provides a method for producing a compound, said method comprising: a step wherein a slurry that contains crystals of a compound is supplied to a fluid-pressure type cleaning column; a step wherein a circulation slurry containing the crystals is extracted from the fluid-pressure type cleaning column and the crystals contained in the extracted circulation slurry are melted; a step wherein a mother liquid is extracted from the slurry containing the crystals within the fluid-pressure type cleaning column with use of a filter; and a step wherein a liquid, which is at a temperature that is not less than the temperature of the mother liquid immediately after extraction in the mother liquid extraction step, is introduced into a nozzle (excluding a nozzle that is provided on a return port for a circulation liquid containing the molten liquid obtained in the melting step and a pipe that supplies the slurry containing the crystals to the fluid-pressure type cleaning column), said nozzle being provided onto the fluid-pressure type cleaning column, from the outside of the fluid-pressure type cleaning column.
