Abstract:
A method for producing a crack arrest steel for a container ship. Blanks with different cross sections for rolling are selected according to different widths of finished products, reducing rolling passes and increasing pass reduction; and planning arrangement is performed according to the features of a special rolling manner and a slow rolling frequency to reduce the time in furnace by using a heating furnace leaving space, guaranteeing the execution of the heating process, and ensuring the surface quality. The heating procedure ensures the uniformity of the blanks in the thickness direction, and the rolling process uses a full longitudinal rolling manner or a full transverse rolling manner as far as possible to increase the effective compression ratio. Ultra-fast cooling is performed on intermediate blanks in order to refine grains, and different cooling processes are set according to specifications and the cooling process for a finished steel plate is determined, thereby achieving a stable production process for accurately and effectively producing a crack arrest steel, so that the production process stability of the crack arrest steel satisfies large-scale industry production, and various indexes, such as mechanical properties and product quality stability, satisfy standard requirements, and the production procedure is easy to control.
