Abstract:
Provided is a method for easily producing a decorative film that resists the formation of an air layer even if affixed to an image display surface, without the use of large-scale equipment or devices. The present invention is a method for producing a decorative film for protecting an image display surface, the method including: a printing step for screen-printing a transparent curable resin (16) having a viscosity of 0.2-1.0 Pa∙s on a surface of a transparent base material film (11), part of the surface of which has a decorative layer (12) formed thereon; a standing step, after the printing step, for causing the base material film on which the curable resin has been printed to stand; and a curing step, following the standing step, for curing the curable resin printed on the surface of the base material film. In the printing step, the curable resin is screen-printed, using a printing plate (15) provided with a screen frame and two or more layers of mesh that are stretched in the inner side of the screen frame, such that a part of the base material film surface on which the decorative layer is not formed is filled with the curable resin.
