Abstract:
In the present invention, a diphenylsulfone compound containing 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone is produced at a good yield in a short time at a relatively low temperature. A diphenylsulfone compound represented by formula (2) is produced by directing microwaves onto a compound represented by formula (1) and a sulfonating agent to effect dehydrocondensation.
