Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for producing a high-purity ether-type glycerophospholipid with high efficiency by a simple procedure.
[Solution] This production method comprises treating a biological material or a tissue thereof with a protease to lyse the tissue of the biological material and, simultaneously with or subsequent to the treatment with the protease, treating the lysate with a lipolytic enzyme to hydrolyze a diacyl-type glycerophospholipid contained in the tissue of the biological material.
It becomes possible to produce a high-purity ether-type glycerophospholipid with high efficiency by a simple procedure without requiring a primary extraction operation, i.e., the extraction of all of lipids before a treatment with an enzyme, or an operation for removing a neutral lipid from all of the lipids or a re-suspension operation.
