Abstract:

This method for producing a film comprises an electrostatic spraying step for using an electrostatic spray device to electrostatically spray a liquid composition directly on the surface of skin to form a film on the skin. The electrostatic spray device comprises a receptacle capable of accommodating the liquid composition, a nozzle for discharging the liquid composition, and a power supply for applying a voltage to the nozzle. The liquid composition contains: component (a), which is one or two or more volatile substances selected from among alcohols and ketones; component (b), which is a water-insoluble polymer having film formability; and component (c), which is 0.2-25 mass% of water. In the electrostatic spraying step, a voltage of 5-50 kV is applied to the nozzle by the power supply, and the liquid composition is discharged at a flow rate of 0.4-30 mL/h and electrostatically sprayed on the surface of the skin, wherein the ratio of the flow rate (F) (mL/h) to the voltage (P) (kV), i.e., flow rate (F)/voltage (P), is 0.8 or less.
