Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel method for producing a fluorinated iodinated organic compound. This problem can be solved by a method for producing a fluorinated iodinated organic compound, the method including a step for reacting a compound represented by formula (1): (in the formula, R1 and R2 each independently denote a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or an organic group, or form a ring together with adjacent carbon atoms, and n is 1 or 2) with a fluorine source, an iodine source and an oxidizing agent or a radical generator so as to add fluorine and iodine to a double bond or triple bond.
