Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for producing resin particles having a small average particle diameter even when there is a high concentration of the raw material for resin particles in the reaction system during the production of melamine hardened resin particles. [Solution] A method for producing hardened amino resin particles, the method comprising: a step in which an aldehyde compound and at least one kind of amino monomer compound which comprises a polyfunctional amino compound are reacted in basic conditions and in an aqueous suspension of colloidal silica having an average particle diameter of 5-70nm, thus producing an aqueous solution of an initial condensate of water-soluble amino resin; and a step in which at least two kinds of acid catalysts are added to the aqueous solution, and spherical hardened amino resin particles are deposited.
