Abstract:
A method for producing light aromatic hydrocarbons from C9+ aromatic hydrocarbons, comprising: in the presence of hydrogen, making C9+ aromatic hydrocarbons to be in contact with a dealkylation catalyst to carry out a dealkylation reaction to obtain light aromatic hydrocarbons, the dealkylation catalyst comprising KL zeolite as well as platinum and modified metal supported thereon, and the modified metal being selected from IIA metals and rare earth metals. In the method, the light aromatic hydrocarbons are produced by using a Pt/KL catalyst containing specific modified metal for a C9+ aromatic hydrocarbon dealkylation reaction. The method has characteristics such as high conversion rate of raw materials, high yield of light aromatic hydrocarbons, and good reaction selectivity.
