Abstract:
Provided in the present invention is a method for producing a Luneburg lens, the method can produce high-performance Luneburg lenses with stable indexes under the conditions of room temperature, normal pressure and low cost. The method comprises the following steps: gluing a first granular material into a ball through an adhesive to make a core; spraying the adhesive on the surface of the core, putting the core into a container filled with a second granular material and rolling the core to allow the second particulate material to adhere to the surface of the entire core until the thickness of the second granular material reaches a predetermined range, thereby forming a dielectric layer covering the core; and so on, making the dielectric layer of a predetermined number of layers, thereby obtaining a finished product of the target Luneburg lens. The described method for producing the Luneburg lens of the present invention has the advantages such as simple production process, low production cost, light mass, easy control of lens characteristics, and excellent lens performance indexes.
