Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a multilayer container in which interlayer separation is unlikely to occur, the multilayer container having a layer comprising a polyester resin as a primary component and a layer comprising a polyamide resin as a primary component. This method for producing a multilayer container comprises biaxially stretching and blow molding a preform having a polyester resin layer and a polyamide resin layer. The storage elastic modulus G' of the polyamide resin is not less than 5 MPa and less than 100 MPa. The moisture content in the polyamide resin layer is 0.5% or less. The polyamide resin is a xylylenediamine-based polyamide resin in which 70 mol% or more of constituent units derived from a diamine are derived from meta-xylylenediamine, 80-97 mol% of constituent units derived from a dicarboxylic acid are derived from an α,ω-straight chain aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 4-8 carbon atoms, and 20-3 mol% of constituent units derived from a dicarboxylic acid are derived from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid.
