Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a positive electrode active material having excellent producibility. Also provided is a manufacturing device with which it is possible to produce a positive electrode active material in a highly productive manner. A method for producing a positive electrode active material including lithium, a transition metal, oxygen, and fluorine, the method having a step for inhibiting fixation during heating of a material being treated. Examples of the fixation-inhibiting step include stirring performed by causing a furnace to rotate during heating, stirring performed by causing a container containing the material being treated to vibrate during heating, and grinding performed between a plurality of heating steps. Using these production methods makes it possible to produce a positive electrode active material in which distribution of additives in a layer part is excellent.
