Abstract:
Provided are: a method for producing a solid food product that exhibits preferable solubility and manageable strength; and a method for producing a solid milk. This method is for producing a solid food product that is in a solid state and is obtained by subjecting food powder to compaction molding, the method comprising: a step for compaction-molding the food powder so as to form a compaction-molded food powder product; and a step for applying hardening treatment to said compaction-molded food powder product, wherein the hardening treatment includes a step for placing the compaction-molded food powder product in an environment where the humidity is at 100% RH or lower and the temperature exceeds 100°C.
