Title:
METHOD FOR PRODUCING STARCH COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/138428
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing a starch composition. A method for producing a starch composition according to the present invention comprises: a step (a) for preparing a mixed raw material that includes an alkaline aqueous solution and at least one selected from the group consisting of a starch raw material, an acid-treated starch, and a dextrin, the mixed raw material having a water content of 20-35 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the raw material mixture; and a step (b) for heat-treating, to a temperature at which the raw material mixture temperature is 120 °C to 150 °C, the raw material mixture that has a water content of 20-35 parts by mass and has been obtained in step (a). According to the present invention, it is possible to provide, by a simple method, a starch composition that does not swell or has little swelling when heated, and has heat resistance.
