Abstract:
This method for producing a steel sheet for hot stamping comprises a hot dip galvanizing process step in which a galvanizing layer is formed on the surface of a base material to form a plated steel sheet, and a cold rolling step in which cold rolling is carried out on the plated steel sheet. In the hot dip galvanizing process step, the average cooling speed from when the galvanizing layer is formed to when the temperature at the surface of the galvanizing layer reaches 400°C is set at 10°C/s or higher, a plating deposit amount M in terms of zinc content conversion in the galvanizing layer is set at 65−150 g/m2, and the aluminum content A in the galvanizing layer is set to 0.20−0.70 mass%. In the cold rolling step, cold rolling is carried out under conditions in which the rolling rate R satisfies L ≤ R ≤ 10L (where L = 0.0032 × A × M + 0.46).
