Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a structural component for motor vehicles by hot-working a semi-finished product in plate form made of a thermoplastic reinforced with embedded continuous filaments ("organo-sheet"). According to said method, areas of the organo-sheet (2) designed for seating of the organo-sheet (2) in a hot-working device (1) and/or portions (21, 22) of the structural component (5) made from the organo-sheet (2) which are subject to a higher load are more highly structured and/or undergo a special thermal treatment during hot-working.
