Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a synthetic resin molded article in which it is not necessary to sort recovered marine floating plastic waste into each type of plastic and with which it is possible to reuse virtually all of the recovered marine floating plastic waste as a raw material. The method is characterized by including: mixing marine floating plastic waste P that has a diameter or side length of 5 mm or less or a weight of 0.1 g or less (30-80 wt%), and wood chips W (second material) that have a diameter or side length of 5 mm or less and do not melt under temperature conditions of 200°C (20-70 wt%), by using a mixer 3; feeding the mixture of marine floating plastic waste P and wood chips W to a crusher 4; crushing the mixture to a powder so that a diameter or side length is 1 mm or less; and feeding the resultant powder to a molding machine as a raw material of a synthetic resin molded article to implement a molding step.
