Abstract:
Provided is a method capable of producing a tetraalkoxysilane with low energy in high yield. The method comprises a first step, in which an alcohol and silicon oxide are reacted in the presence of an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, and a second step, in which a vaporized ingredient obtained from the reaction mixture obtained in the first step is brought into contact with a molecular sieve. Due to this, a tetraalkoxysilane can be produced in high yield.
