Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a workpiece (30) produced from plate-shaped material (12) and a workpiece (30), wherein at least one forming element (32) having a tool is introduced into the plate-shaped material (12), said forming element comprising at least one forming zone (33), which is offset relative to the plane (34) of the plate-shaped material (12), or protrudes out of said plane and a bend line (35) is formed between the forming zone (32) and the plane (34) of the plate-shaped material (12), wherein, in order to introduce the forming element (33) without warping, at least one first perforation (41) is introduced by means of a laser beam of a processing machine (11), wherein the at least one first perforation (41) extends along a bend line (35) located in the plane (34) of the plate-shaped material (12), said bend line surrounding the forming element (32) at least in part, or wherein the at least one first perforation (41) intersects a bend line (35) located in the plane of the plate-shaped material (12).
