Abstract:
Said method generally involves forming a chitosan-based film; stabilizing said film; activating the cell adhering capacity by drying the stabilized film and washing. The film can also be activated biologically by fixing a substance with biological activity. The resulting films exhibit enhanced cell adhering capacity and are optionally biologically activated. Said films can be used to induce biological activity in a receiver organism and/or enhance osteo-integration of implants used in odontology or traumatology and/or regenerate bone tissue.
