Abstract:
A hydroxycarboxylic acid can be produced by using a microorganism which has the deletion, mutation or substitution of an nadR gene therein or has a gene encoding nicotinic acid phosphoribosyltransferase introduced therein so as to improve the ability of producing nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide.
