Disclosed is a method for providing a caddy service using an application program installed on a mobile communication terminal. The method for providing a caddy service using an application program, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: transmitting a golf course ID to a server that can communicate with a mobile communication terminal; receiving, from the server, information on a golf course corresponding to the golf course ID; if a golfer configures a strategy for a course included in the information on the golf course, transmitting the configured strategy to the server; receiving, from the server, a guideline, generated by the server, on the strategy, and displaying the received guideline; calculating a first angle between the direction, detected by a gyro sensor, when the golfer performs an address motion, and a reference direction according to the guideline; and the application program displaying the calculated first angle.
