Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of purifying phytosterol concentrates by contacting the phytosterol concentrate with a pressurized fluid. The invention also relates to the obtained purified phytosterol concentrate, foodstuff and animal feed premixes containing the same as well as to foofstuffs and animal feeds containing phytosterol concentrate.
