Abstract:
A method for quantifying a hydrophobic component contained in a liquid according to the present invention comprises the steps of: a) bringing a droplet of a liquid into contact with a solid surface and measuring an initial area (A0) and an initial diameter (d0) of a contact area between the droplet and the solid surface; b) measuring an area (At) and a diameter (dt) of a contact area between the droplet and the solid surface after a predetermined time (t) has elapsed; and c) obtaining a contact area diffusion factor (CADF).
