Abstract:
Provided is a method for recycling steroid epoxy isomer. Reacting with a reactive metal such as lithium, sodium, and potassium in an diphenyl organic solvent so as to reduce and form conjugated double bonds; in an alkaline environment, ketal protecting groups are not affected, 17-hydroxyls are not affected, and the position of the double bond does not change, and direct conversion to the raw material of the previous step is achieved, thereby enabling recycling. The one-step reduction of the present invention solves the problem of existing techniques wherein epoxy bonds must first be opened and then dehydrated to form double bonds, avoiding situations in which metals directly reduce epoxy bonds to double bonds in an acidic environment and destroy ketal protecting groups. Epoxy isomer β and partial α isomers are directly reduced to form the raw material, containing conjugated double bonds, of the previous step, thereby achieving a simple cycle.
