Title:
METHOD FOR REMOVING IMPURITIES BY USING CALCIUM PHOSPHATE PRECIPITATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/185716
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for removing impurities in a sample containing proteins, comprising a step of causing calcium phosphate to precipitate by adding a calcium ion solution and a phosphate ion solution to the sample containing proteins. It is possible to effectively remove impurities such as protein aggregates within a short time and by a simple method if purifying proteins by using the present invention instead of chromatography, which takes a long time and has a complex equipment and method in a purification process after protein A chromatography.
